The sky is cloaking itself
Above the graying city
I walk along these walls covered with beautiful messages
That don’t mean anything anymore
Cause poetry died long ago
It's been strangled by trends and ego

I gave that other a coin
I saw no light in his eyes

“A human like us all”
That was the title of my last story
I offered my help for my own mercy
With selfless selfishness
I leash off social misery

Keep stuffing my flawless self
With mouthfuls of virtual flattery


We're all longing for revolution
While we spend our time fleeing reality
I lost sense of passion
Drowning in desillusion
I try to get rid of my hypocrisy


I'm trapped in the wrong movie
Can't remember when I lost all dignity
Now it's time to end this fellony
Rip up your mask


But who the fuck am I in the end?
Am I really that guru I pretend to be
Or did I eventually become
The shadow of my rotting self?

I hope I've been inspiring enough
For my friends, for my brothers and sisters
At least I hope they'll remember my name
When I'll leave their world
